Terence Eldridge had a passion for art at an early age and studied at Beckenham Art School back in the late 1960s before joining a long established firm of fine art dealers in London as a trainee buyer. Looking at, and assessing paintings by well-known, mostly long dead artists was his daily privileged occupation and remained so for many years and inspired him to start painting his own pictures and to develop his own style which he has continued to do over the years.

Working in both oils and watercolours his landscapes and beach scenes are usually populated by people enjoying the simple pleasures of this environment and he is particularly fascinated by the changing moods of sky and sea.

He has exhibited his work in London and the South-East and his pictures can be found in private collections in the UK, Europe, the United States, Canada, Thailand and Japan.
